Determined to save them, he reaches out to Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira for help. Together, they must infiltrate the district’s most prominent houses to uncover and defeat the powerful Upper Rank demon behind these terrifying attacks.

The Review:-
After finishing the first season of Kimetsu no Yaiba and the Mugen Train movie, I was super excited to watch this season featuring the Hashira I had taken a real liking to — Tengen Uzui. I was surprised to hear that a lot of people felt underwhelmed by this arc. While I can understand some of their points, I personally really enjoyed it from start to finish.
At the beginning of the season, we’re introduced to Tengen Uzui along with plenty of comedic moments as Uzui, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke infiltrate the entertainment district. Some people didn’t enjoy this humor, but I felt it was much-needed comic relief after the shock and heartbreak of the Mugen Train arc.
As the story gets more serious and the demon finally appears, I thought it was clever how they kept the true nature of the demon a mystery until later on. It took me by surprise and built up a lot of suspense, making me even more eager to see how the battles would unfold. I do agree with those who feel the characters sometimes over-explain their every move. However, I think we can give them some slack since it’s part of the show’s style.
The fight scenes themselves were absolutely thrilling! I was on the edge of my seat until the very end, constantly wondering who would come out on top. There were moments where things felt hopeless, but somehow our heroes pulled through. I will admit that some of the “convenient” explanations — like moving organs around to avoid fatal injuries — felt a bit far-fetched. While I understand the reasoning behind it, it did seem slightly forced at times.
Some people also criticized this arc because the fight lasted around nine episodes (or more). Personally, I don’t see why that’s a problem. Plenty of other anime have long, drawn-out battles — some even go on for 19 episodes or more!
Overall, the animation was stunning as always, and the fight scenes were so intense that I barely noticed how many episodes it took to tell the story. That’s the beauty of good storytelling: it keeps you so engaged that time flies by. The tension kept rising steadily, leading to a satisfying and impactful ending.
Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen is ranked at #26, and I’d give it a solid 9 out of 10. While some people might find flaws, I absolutely loved it from beginning to end. It kept me on the edge of my seat and left me both satisfied and excited for what’s to come. Sure, there are a few imperfections, but I think those quirks are part of what makes the series so memorable and enjoyable.

Favourite Quote :-
"Just how many lives do you think I’ve let slip through my fingers until now" – Tengen Uzui
~
I like this quote because it shows that Tengen in all his flashiness is still humble and is very aware of the lives that has slipped through his fingers.

Stay tuned for the Openings and Endings !
