Synopsis:-

In 1972, at Yomiyama North Middle School, there was a popular third-year student named Misaki. She excelled in both academics and sports, which made her well-loved by her classmates. Tragically, when Misaki passed away unexpectedly, her classmates decided to carry on as if she were still with them until graduation.

After Misaki's death, the town of Yomiyama took on a strange and eerie atmosphere, with dark secrets lurking just below the surface.

Fast forward to the spring of 1998, a 15-year-old boy named Sakakibara Kouichi transfers into class 3-3 and begins to notice the unsettling vibe in the classroom.

There’s a mysterious and beautiful girl named Mei Misaki, who always wears an eyepatch and seems to keep to herself, often seen quietly drawing. What’s odd is that the students and teachers act as if she doesn’t exist.

Despite warnings from his classmates and Mei herself to stay away and stop asking questions, Kouichi becomes more determined to uncover the truth about Mei and the town’s hidden secrets.

'Another' takes you on a thrilling journey with Mei, Kouichi, and the rest of class 3-3, as they unravel Yomiyama's dark, hidden horrors, leading to a series of tragic events where the stakes couldn’t be higher.

The Review:-

This anime is one of the best short horror series I've watched, and if you're into horror or thrillers, I highly recommend giving it a shot!

What really drew me in was the air of mystery surrounding Mei Misaki and the intrigue of uncovering the secret behind it all.

The graphics are top-notch—sometimes almost too realistic! Like any good horror, there's at least one intense, graphic scene, and this anime has plenty of them. The animation and visuals do an incredible job of building a sense of dread that lingers with you.

The story progression is also fantastic. From start to finish, the plot flows smoothly without any confusing or unnecessary scenes. The storyline is straightforward, with the mystery of Yomiyama keeping you on the edge of your seat.

While 'Another' has a rating of 7.7 out of 10, I’d personally give it a 10 out of 10. If you enjoy horror with a touch of mystery, this is definitely a must-watch!
