Synopsis :-

Yato is a minor god who doesn’t even have a shrine! To change his situation and gain popularity, he writes his cell number all around town, offering to help anyone in exchange for a 5-yen offering. This earns him the nickname 'Delivery God.'

Hiyori, a girl from a respectable family, has her life completely changed after a traffic accident nearly kills her. Yato saves her, but the accident leaves Hiyori with the ability to exit her body in soul form. Following this incident, Yato and Hiyori become good friends and work together to help Yato gain recognition.

During their adventures, Yato encounters a boy named Yukine, who becomes his regalia—a sacred treasure used by gods in battle. Together, they fight phantoms, and as their bond grows stronger, Yato's mysterious past starts to unfold.

The Review:-

I love Noragami! This is one of those anime that, once you start watching, you'll want to keep going to see what happens next.

It has an absorbing storyline that is well thought out and executed. There wasn't a moment where I felt confused about the direction of the story. Overall, it was more engaging than anything else.

One thing I appreciated was the different personalities of each character and their development, as well as their relationships with each other. For example, it may seem silly, but I liked how they mentioned that Yato's hands were sweaty when he had his first regalia. Later, when he has Yukine, Yukine also complains about Yato's sweaty hands. This consistency in small details about the characters is very important.

I also liked the relationships they have with one another. As the anime progresses, we see the bond between Hiyori, Yukine, and Yato grow stronger. Over time, they seem more like a close-knit family than three individuals brought together by different circumstances. Hiyori's situation leaves the lingering question of what will happen if her problem is fixed and she can no longer associate with them.

The art style is alright, and I have no complaints about it. One thing I thought was cool was that in the openings and closings, the scenes were in black and white with their eyes remaining in color. This nice touch really drew attention.

The music was also really good. The ending theme was especially calming, and the opening was a fun jam you could dance along to.

This anime was enjoyable to watch. Though some scenes have a bit of suspense, it’s something you can watch in a couple of days!

Noragami has been rated a 7 out of 10, but I’m giving it an 8 out of 10.
